EVENT ASSISTANT (S)
We are looking for “self-starters” that will support the event set-up of our operation: assisting with the loading and unloading of event decor and furniture at a predetermined venue as well as set-up and tear down of events such as weddings, private and public functions based on a design concept. The ideal candidate will bring positive energy, a great attitude, and problem solving skills to its team. This is a seasonal position including every weekend including some Fridays from June-November. Approximately 10 hours/ weekend.
Job duties:
Assist with accurate loading and unloading of event decor such as linens, furniture onto vehicles ensuring that items are properly loaded and secure to reduce damage
Assist with event decor set-up including setup of furniture, linens, dishware, backdrops and signage as well as assist with tear down under guidance.
Assist with other vendors if needed such as florists, caterers, venue staff when needed.
Assist with event preparation including but not limited to linen pickups/ drop offs, rental pickups, signage and supply pickups if warranted.
Job Requirements:
Access to a vehicle or transportation not including public transportation.
Work mornings, afternoons and possible late nights on weekends with occasional weekdays.
Ability to bend, walk/stand for 8 hours or more and lift 50lbs.
Strong and clear communication skills.
Customer service focused.
Punctual and dependable.
Must be able to display a positive attitude while collaborating with a team.
Ability to work and complete tasks without supervision.
Tentative start date: May 2023
Pay wage starting at $18/hr

STUDIO ASSISTANT (S)
We are looking for “self-starters” that will support the event preparation of our operation: assisting with the cleaning, organizing, packing and prepping of event décor, furniture and signage as well oversee event rental inventory pickup and drop offs with customers at our Sydney location The ideal candidates will bring positive energy, a great attitude, and problem solving skills to its team. This is a seasonal position requiring availability Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from June- November. Hours are flexible.
Job duties:
Assist with organizing, counting, cleaning, packing event decor such as linens, tableware, candle ware.
Prepare all required inventory for each event including inspection, counting, packing and assist in ordering.
Prepare, clean and oversee rental drop offs and pickups at our Sydney location.
Assist with event preparation including but not limited to linen pickups/ drop offs, rental pickups, signage and supply pickups if warranted.
Job Requirements:
Access to a vehicle preferred although location is accessible by public transportation.
Be available Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays approx. 4 hours per day. Hours are flexible.
Ability to bend, walk/stand and lift 30 lbs.
Strong and clear communication skills.
Customer service focused.
Punctual and dependable.
Must be able to display a positive attitude while collaborating with a team.
Ability to work and complete tasks without supervision.
Tentative start date: April 2023
Pay wage starting at $16/hr
